Portsmouth star Jamal Lowe is set to leave Fratton Park this summer, a source close to the player has exclusively confirmed to Football League World.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a hugely impressive campaign for Pompey last term, in a season where they narrowly missed out on promotion from League One after a play-off semi-final defeat to Sunderland.

The attacker, who scored in Pompey's Checkatrade Trophy final win over the Black Cats, scored 16 goals and produced eight assists in all competitions for Kenny Jackett's side last term

After such an eye-catching season in front of goal, the versatile forward has attracted interest from the likes of Leeds United, Wigan Athletic and Cardiff City over the course of the season.

Whether those sides have made a formal offer for the player remains to be seen, however a source close to Lowe has exclusively confirmed to Football League World that Lowe will be leaving Fratton Park this summer.

Millwall have recently had a £2.5million bid rejected for the 24-year-old, as per reports from the Daily Mirror (15th June, page 73), with Burnley also believed to hold an interest in the former Barnet man.

Lowe still has one year left on his deal at Fratton Park, having signed a contract extension back in January 2018.
