The League One relegation battle is what everyone is talking about in terms of the EFL right now and you can see why.

Half of the division has concerns about the drop going into the final weeks and, clearly, whoever gets on a run between now and the end of May will be safe.

Barring a loss at Doncaster, Bristol Rovers are one of the sides that have been on a decent run, too, and they'll be looking to get safe sooner rather than later.

As Quest announced their EFL highlights show has been extended to two hours to cover it all, then, we caught up with regular pundit Ian Holloway to get his thoughts on it all.

And, suitably, we started with his team Bristol Rovers and their flying forward, before looking at the scrap as a whole:

"I hope we can we've managed to produce a miracle in the January transfer window by signing Jonson Clarke-Harris.

"How we've plucked him out from Coventry I'll never know so well done Graham because that is unbelievable.

"He's got 8 goals already and thank God for that because our goal difference is a little bit better than some of the others even though we got thumped by a very good Doncaster side the other night.

"If we'd had won that I think we'd have been right out of it. I have never seen anything this close and I think that has got to be credit to the teams at the top of the division actually for the way they've won games.

"Never have I seen 5 teams that have already won 19 games or more, it's quite incredible. The scrap is so close that teams will be thinking in a positive way that they can catch up but also in a negative way that they're only a couple of points off of the bottom so it's absolutely crazy.

"It is so worth watching."

Quest is extending its EFL highlights show, which airs Saturdays at nine o’clock, from this weekend.

Quest is available on Sky, Virgin, Freeview and Freesat and online at questod.co.uk and via the Quest OD app.
