Earlier this week, the Championship Manager of the Year award was given to Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder.

A man who has developed a unique playing style with the Blades, he'll now be looking to build on the gong with a promotion this season.

Daniel Farke and Norwich, though, will be looking to stop him with the German doing a similarly excellent job at Carrow Road.

Could there have been a chance he should have won the award, then? We spoke to Dean Ashton to see what he thought and he told us exclusively...

"I think definitely because of the pressure Daniel Farke was under at the start of the season prior to going onto a good run and it looked as though he could lose his job.

"But, I think Chris Wilder is a great choice because after doing so well last season he's done it again, he's kept the consistency up and improved the squad and played the way he does with the centre-backs getting forward so he very much deserves the award."
