West Brom suffered a rather hefty defeat to Leeds United on Friday night as the Whites ran out 4-0 winners at Elland Road.

And, with Sheffield United getting a point at Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich winning at Millwall, the Baggies have lost more ground on the top two spots.

Can they still make the automatic places? EFL on Quest pundit Dean Ashton has his doubts.

He told us exclusively...

"I thought that was their last chance to make the top two.

"Having not got anything against Sheffield United and then not got anything against Leeds I think it shows that there is a gap between them and the top three.

"Maybe they just haven't got what it takes to get over the line this season in terms of the top two. There have been players playing out of position sometimes.

"I thought at first they weren't missing Harvey Barnes but the more you look at it the more you realise they are particularly at home when teams are going to sit back and make it difficult.

"He was tending to be the difference with the way he drifted in off the line and picked up positions and Darren Moore hasn't been able to figure out a solution for that.

"I expect them to make the play-offs though for sure."
