It's nearly a week since the transfer window came to a close and now teams are gearing up for the final run of the season where the games become increasingly important.

Some sides will be happy with their business, others will not, but every club will now have to get on with what they have.

And, that in mind, we asked Dean Ashton who he felt had done the best work in the window.

This is what the EFL on Quest pundit told Football League World exclusively:

"It’s hard to pick one but I think West Brom did well in getting Jacob Murphy and Jefferson Montero as wide-men.

"I’m surprised Monter, in particular,r wasn’t picked up by a Premier League club because when he was there with Swansea he was outstanding.

"If he can stay fit as well as Murphy they could easily be the difference for West Brom when going for the promotion places this season.

"The other good deal is Leon Clarke going to Wigan.

"Wigan have struggled a bit this season with that main goal-scoring role and he’s obviously been champing at the bit to get playing at Sheffield United which hasn’t happened so he’ll be looking to make an impression now.

"He was right up in the scoring charts last season and has hardly played this year and Wigan have done some good business with a couple of centre-halves coming in with Olsson and Fox as well."
