Plymouth Argyle are likely to be one of the favourites to win promotion into League One this season, after they were relegated from the third tier of English football last term.

Ryan Lowe's side have made a strong start to this year's campaign as well, as they currently sit sixth in the League Two table after four games.

It's set to be a fiercely-competitive League Two this season, and Lowe's men will have to be at their best to fight their way back into League One.

Speaking exclusively to Football League World's Chief Editor Sam Rourke, former Plymouth man David Norris has high hopes for Ryan Lowe's side, and has tipped them to make an immediate return to League One.

"Yes I do think they'll go straight back up. Plymouth have got a really good chance and I wouldn't be surprised if they did go up.

"It's early days in a difficult league but I'd expect them to have a right good chance of going back up into League One.

Norris revealed that he has seen his former side in action this year, and was impressed with what he witnessed, despite their relegation back into League Two in last year's campaign.

"They had a good team there already. I went to see them on the final game of last season and they played some brilliant stuff. I trained a few of the Plymouth lads that he brought in and they're decent lads."

Arygle will be hoping to build on some impressive showings already this season, and could move to the top of the League Two table with a win over Walsall at the weekend.
