Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa's happiness at Napoli could scupper Crystal Palace's hopes of signing him from Fulham next summer, Football League World has been told exclusively.

The midfielder remains on the books at Craven Cottage but sealed an expected loan switch to Serie A side Napoli in the summer window earlier this year, with the Italian side having an option to buy him at the end of the spell next summer.

Indeed, it seems quite possible that he could make a permanent move to the club at the end of this season with Football League World being told exclusively that he is happy with how things have gone in Naples and that he is not currently that interested in returning to England to play in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace have been linked with the midfielder in recent days but it would currently take a real sell from Eagles boss Patrick Vieira to try and convince Anguissa his future lies at Selhurst Park from the beginning of next season.

Of course, Fulham might be in the Premier League next year, too, and may want to try and keep Anguissa around as well but as things stand the most likely course of action looks to be that he'll make the switch to Napoli permanently.
