Long-term Leeds United transfer target, Callum O'Dowda has turned down three contract offers from Bristol City, a source close to the player has exclusively revealed to Football League World.

The source also revealed that the winger has his heart set on a move to Leeds United, which explains why the 24-year-old has declined numerous contract offers at Ashton Gate.

O'Dowda has struggled for a consistent run in the starting XI for Bristol City recently through injury, having made just 20 starts for Lee Johnson's side as they finished 8th in the Championship table.

It has previously been reported by talkSPORT, that Leeds were interested in signing the Irishman, although an official bid was never submitted by Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The source also revealed that Leeds are yet to renew their interest in O'Dowda, as they plan for another season in the Championship.

The Mirror had previously stated that the Whites had ended their interest in signing the midfielder, although they could reignite their interest in him after this latest development.

Leeds have been linked with a move for Wolves winger, Helder Costa (according to the Yorkshire Evening Post) and Football Insider have recently revealed that Costa has told his friends that he is keen to move to Elland Road.

So it remains to be seen as to whether Leeds will be in the market for another winger, as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion to the Premier League.
