Andy Couzens is predicting Leeds United to continue their fine start to the season when they entertain Nottingham Forest at Elland Road this Saturday lunchtime.

Leeds blew the cobwebs off in superb fashion on Sunday, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side winning 3-1 at Bristol City thanks to goals from Pablo Hernandez, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison.

Now, attention is firmly planted on Saturday’s test against Nottingham Forest, with Sabri Lamouchi going in search of his first points as Reds boss following last weekend’s 2-1 defeat to West Brom.

However, in the eyes of Couzens, it is a good game for Leeds to have, despite the fact it is going to be a test.

“For me personally, I think it’s a great game for us, we’ve had a great result against Bristol,” Couzens told FLW in an exclusive interview with Chief Editor, Sam Rourke.

“Forest have spent a bit of money last year, they’ve had a managerial change again, but it’s going to be a tough game, it always is.”

Last year, Forest took four points off Leeds, with the East Midlands outfit holding one of the Championship’s best records against Bielsa’s promotion-chasing side.

They won 4-2 in the clash at the City Ground, whilst Kemar Roofe’s handled effort denied them three points in the 1-1 draw at Elland Road.

Despite that strong record, Couzens is backing Leeds for a convincing win.

“If we continue to play like we did on Sunday, I think we will win quite easily again,” Couzens continued.

“I see it as a home win. We need to make Elland Road a fortress again. I can even see a 3-0.”
