‘Exciting times’, ‘Not good enough’ – 7 things Ipswich Town fans said after double transfer swoop

Ipswich Town have completed the double swoop of Toto Nsiala and Jon Nolan from Shrewsbury Town, and their most of their fans are suitably impressed.

The Salop duo join their former manager Paul Hurst at Portman Road and have both signed three-year deals with the Championship side.

Nolan and Nsiala were two of the standout performers for their former team last term as Shrewsbury made it to the League One play-off final.

Having lost to Rotherham United at Wembley last May, the club were braced for offers for their best players.

And with the transfer window closing in just over 24-hours, Ipswich have snapped the duo on long-term deals for undisclosed fees.

Tractor Boys’ supporters are, in the main, happy with the signings of the Shrews pair, with a small smattering of dissatisfaction at the ambition of the club.

Here are what the Ipswich Town fans have had to say on Twitter after the announcement of the double signing.
