Swansea City are expected to announce the loan signing of Chelsea’s Marc Guehi today.
The 19-year-old centre back is said to be close to sealing an 18-month loan move to Steve Cooper’s Swansea, with whom he won the U17 World Cup with England back in 2017.
He’ll join Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster who was also a World Cup winner with Cooper, and who completed his loan move until the end of this season earlier this week.
Guehi has two Chelsea first-team appearances to his name this season, and has been a prominent figure for the Chelsea U23 side and for Aidy Boothroyd’s Young Lions this campaign.
He’s represented England at every level from U16 to U21 and is highly touted to have a bright future for both club and country.
Plenty of Swansea fans have reacted to the news on Twitter, and plenty are excited to see him in action.

With only one more loan allowed would have preferred a midfield, especially with Rodon hopefully not far off a return

Don't see much point in the loan unless Watford are recalling wilmot.
