‘Excellent’, ‘Ripped them to shreds’ – Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans react to player’s display v Leeds

Nottingham Forest put in a valiant display as they drew 1-1 with Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
After an opening day defeat to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, Sabri Lamouchi’s side will have been looking to pick up their first three points of the campaign against a likely promotion contender in Leeds.
As expected, Marcelo Bielsa’s side dominated possession in front of their home fans, with Patrick Bamford squandering two massive chances in quick succession in the second half.
But after waves of pressure from the hosts, Pablo Hernandez netted his second goal of the season to put the Whites in front, leaving Forest with all the work to do in the final 20 minutes of the contest.
Lamouchi then made changes to his side as the Reds looked to get back into the game, Rafa Mir replacing midfielder Ben Watson, and Albert Adomah coming off for Sammy Ameobi.
The latter caused havoc in the latter stages of the contest with his driving runs and powerful presence, and in the end, the Reds found an equaliser through Lewis Grabban.
Here, after picking up a decent point at Elland Road, we take a look at what Forest fans thought of Ameobi’s weekend display.
Samedo was good. Silva spent most of the game wondering who was going to boot him up in the air next. Watson slows it all down, Bostock can solve that though. Robinson out of sorts. Ameobi did well when he came on. We are very much a work in progress, which is no surprise #NFFC

Semedo good again. Solid performance all in all. Will be good to have Jenkinson slot in at RB. Ameobi excellent when he came on stretched them and a good outlet for us to get the ball up the other end of the pitch. Better linking up top will come #nffc

Positives to take from yesterday, Sow is solid, semedo class again, ameobi should start ahead of adomah, Hopefully that goal kickstarts Grabban #nffc
