Derby County made it five league games unbeaten in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, as the Rams defeated Hull City by a goal to nil at Pride Park.

After securing a last-gasp draw against Middlesbrough last time out, Derby went in search of their third successive home win, and they did so thanks to Matt Clarke's second-half strike.

The defender rose highest to head home from a cross which beat George Long and put the Rams 1-0 up - a lead they held onto thanks a brilliant defensive performance.

Hull were always going to be a threat on the counter with Josh Bowler and Jarrod Bowen on either side of midfield, but left-back Max Lowe, in particular, was exceptional for the Rams.
