Queens Park Rangers have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Macauley Bonne from Charlton Athletic.  

Bonne had been a Charlton player for little over 12 months and bagged 11 goals last season for Lee Bowyer’s side in the Championship.

However, relegation to League One couldn’t be avoided and Charlton have now accepted an offer from QPR (undisclosed) for Bonne.

That offers Bonne, 24, a route straight back into the Championship. He’s signed a three-year deal with QPR, with the option for that to be extended by a further 12 months.

In Mark Warburton’s squad, Bonne arrives as competition for Lyndon Dykes in attack, with the other new recruit hitting the ground running in the Championship so far, helping QPR to four points from their opening three games of the season.
