‘Exactly what we need’ – Loads of Huddersfield Town fans rave over attacker’s performance against Millwall

Danny Cowley’s search for a first win in charge of Huddersfield Town continues, after being held to a 1-1 draw against Millwall at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers endured two tough tests in Cowley’s first couple of games in charge of the club, losing against high-flying Sheffield Wednesday and West Bromwich Albion over the last couple of weeks.

But Saturday afternoon presented Town with a great opportunity to pick up their first win of the season, against a Millwall side that had lost three of their previous five league games.

And the Yorkshire club found a breakthrough after 24 minutes – Karlan Grant pulling the ball back for Fraizer Campbell to score his first goal of the season.

But after squandering a couple of good chances, Millwall were level in the 41st minute – Matt Smith levelling for the Lions, despite a dominant first-half display from the home side.

Town were unable to make their extra-man advantage count in the final 10 minutes of the contest after Shane Ferguson’s red card, and the points were shared at the John Smith’s Stadium.

It was a much better performance from Huddersfield, on an afternoon where Fraizer Campbell led the line well on his own.

Here, we look at Town fans’ reactions to the striker’s performance against Millwall…
