Aston Villa lead Rotherham at the break, with Tammy Abraham getting his first goal for the club.

The striker joined Steve Bruce's side on loan from Chelsea on deadline day and it was considered a real coup for Villa to land the player.

Abraham did okay on his debut against Blackburn on Saturday but Bruce switched things up for the visit of the Millers, bringing Jonathan Kodjia in to partner the 20-year-old.

And, the duo clicked in the first-half at Villa Park, combining brilliantly to ensure the West Midlands side went into the break with the lead.

Some good football involving John McGinn and Jack Grealish saw Kodjia receive the ball on the edge of the area and the Ivorian international fed a superb ball through to Abraham who finished confidently.

As well as that, the two have given Villa a real physicality and presence up top and have linked well, bringing others into play and turning the opposition.

Here's how some supporters reacted to the display frmo their forwards on twitter...
