Aston Villa travel to The Hawthorns to take on West Brom in the second-leg of their play-off semi-final on Tuesday evening.

Dean Smith's side have a one-goal advantage over the Baggies heading into this one, with Tammy Abraham and Conor Hourihane responding to Dwight Gayle's opener in the first-half in a 2-1 win for the Villans.

It means that the tie is going to be a closely-fought battle between the two Championship heavyweights tonight in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

One of Tony Xia's former assistants, Rongtian He responded to the club's rallying cry ahead of the game this evening and Villa fans will certainly be pleased with his three-word message.

Villa will be favourites heading into the game, and their chances of booking their place in the play-off final were strengthened after West Brom's star striker, Dwight Gayle was sent off late on for a second bookable offence.

Dean Smith will be certain to not let his players get ahead of themselves though, and you can expect a professional performance from the Villans on the night.

The winner of this tie will come up against either Leeds United or Derby County, who do battle at Elland Road, with Marcelo Bielsa's side having a one-goal advantage after a narrow 1-0 win at the weekend.

The Verdict:

It's good to see him still supporting the club.

Aston Villa will be hoping to return back into the promised land and I firmly believe that they'll have enough about them to see off West Brom tonight.

Their strength in depth is there for all to see and I can't see anyone standing in their win as they challenge for promotion back into the Premier League.
