Orlandi has extended his deal at Blackpool

The seaside club, managed by former Birmingham City boss Lee Clark, had the option of a one year extension on the midfielder’s contract and it has been announced that the club have activated it.

The Spaniard, who is now 30, moved to the club last August and has played a total of 27 times for the club, in which he has scored three goals.

Orlandi has a vast amount of experience having played for Brighton and Swansea in the past as well as playing for the Barcelona reserve team for a short amount of time.

The creative midfielder began his career at Spanish club Alaves and will join Lee Clark’s squad for next season’s League One campaign.

After a terrible season, Blackpool have had trouble both on and off the pitch, and fans will be hoping that they do not replicate what Yeovil have done and that is have two horrendous back to back seasons which result in back to back relegations.
