The 21-year-old, who can also play at right-back if needed, is a free agent after being released by City at the end of the season.

He spent a large part of last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side St. Mirren, where he scored three goals in 12 appearances, before the deal was cut short in January.

Drury progressed through the youth ranks at City after joining the club at 14, signing a professional deal with the club in 2011, but failed to break into the first team and was a main feature in Patrick Viera's development squad.

He had a six-month loan spell at Burton Albion in January 2013 and helped the Brewers finish in the League Town play-offs at the end of the 2012-13 campaign.

Drury is currently training with the Leeds squad at their Thorp Arch training ground and is expected to be used their pre-season matches.
