Miller wants to extend his stay at Huddersfield Town

Miller signed in January and is currently on a short term contract with the club. However many Town fans would like to see this extended to at least one more year.

The former Manchester City and QPR forward has offered vital support to the Terriers front line, filling in for James Vaughan or Nahki Wells when out injured or suspended.

Speaking to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Miller said:

“This is a great club and I soon felt settled,” said Miller, who has featured in three Championship promotions, two with West Brom and one with QPR.

“I like the vibe of the place, it’s a lot like West Brom when I first went there (from Manchester City in 2007).

“It’s a people-orientated club, everyone knows each other and everyone is pulling in the same direction.

“And the manager (Chris Powell) has been brilliant with me since I walked through the door.

He has so far played fifteen times for Town this season and made a big impact, causing mayhem upfront with his massive 6 foot 3 inch frame.

The big striker knows this division well, and has had previous promotions from it. With QPR and two with West Brom. He has scored three times this season and will be looking to add to his tally this Saturday when Blackburn visit the John Smith Stadium.

Miller has so far impressed many Town fans with his ability to upset defenders and cause chaos in the box. He also has the ability to take on his opponent and beat them, as he has a bit of pace about him.

The Terriers currently sit 15th  in the Sky Bet Championship but can go to 13th if results fall their way and if they win their remaining games.
