Lauri Dalla Valle has joined Sky Bet League One side Crewe Alexandra on a deal which will last until June 2016, the club have confirmed.
The 23 year-old joined the Alex as a free agent, having had experience at Liverpool and Fulham.
This will be the second spell which Dalla Valle will have had at Crewe after spending time with the club during the 2012-13 season, averaging a goal every two games.
The forward also netted twice for Crewe’s development squad on Monday in front of manager Steve Davis, who then expressed his desire to buy him on Wednesday.
Davis was hoping to sign the man who has also played in Belgium and Norway on a permanent deal, and the deal was wrapped up soon after.
The 23-year-old striker will be wearing the number 12 shirt during his time at the club, and could be in contention to start Scunthorpe United in Sky Bet League One next week.
