Former Leeds United favourite Vinnie Jones has said that he feels the club should go after Liverpool's James Milner in a coming transfer window.

It's been another hectic recent period at Leeds United with Thomas Christiansen getting sacked at the weekend and it seems as though the club is now up against it to make the play-offs.

Many have perhaps cited the idea that the club doesn't have enough in the way of experienced players in the squad at the moment and Jones appears to share that sentiment with his comments about the former Leeds man.

He said of Milner - as quoted by The Sun.

"I was thinking last night, listening to the Liverpool game - James Milner.

"People like Milner who could come in, they are still great athletes and the rest of it, I think to really get out of that league you need that."

Certainly, if you were going to describe Milner with one word it would be professional and he has certainly been that wherever he has gone in his career.

There's no real sign of him leaving Liverpool, either, but Jones feels as though the Whites could do with him - or someone like him - in order to get back into the Premier League.
