Leeds United take on Millwall this weekend in a Sky Bet Championship game that never needs much building-up.

Though the two sides are far from local rivals, they have developed some serious animosity in recent seasons and this weekend's match is bound to see another blood and thunder clash.

Both have something to play for, too, and so Neil Harris and Marcelo Bielsa will be eager to get the edge on the other heading into this one.

Bielsa, too, has got the edge over most this season with his in-depth analysis but, for Lions striker Steve Morison - a former Leeds player - it's not actually that impressive.

Quoted by News at Den, he said:

“He hasn’t got any more information than anyone else does. He doesn’t put any more hours in than every other football club does, everyone does the same thing. Everyone in football knows that.

“The media and the fans were like, ‘wow’ about [the presentation] but as Frank Lampard said that is just common practice from every single football club in the league.

“We all have analysts. We have Dan McLoone [Millwall video analyst] here and the people under him. The gaffer watches games, Dave [Livermore] watches games, Adam [Barrett] watches games.

“All that stuff about him watching more games and knowing more stuff about all the players is a load of nonsense. If he did he wouldn’t need to send someone to the ground to watch someone training."

Bielsa was at the centre of the Spygate row earlier this season for sending someone to pry on Derby County's training session ahead of their match.

He then embarked on an in-depth presentation to press to show how much detail he goes into, but Morison isn't having it.

The Verdict

The Millwall veteran is clearly not overly impressed with Bielsa despite the numerous onlookers that have been this season.

Maybe it's a ploy to stir things up ahead of the game? We'll soon see whether it has had its desired effect or whether the Lions are going to get mauled.
