Frank Lampard is gearing up for his first season as manager where he will look to take Derby County back to the Premier League.

The Chelsea legend is new to management and there will be a lot of attention on him as he begins his new role.

And, it will be a challenging first job with the Rams having an old squad and in a financial position that means big-money can't be thrown around.

However, he will know the importance of improving his squad and will look to use his connections in the game to bring in some new faces.

Here we look at THREE realistic signings that the fans would want to see at Pride Park before the season starts...

Over the years Derby have struggled when it really matters towards the end of the season and you can't help question the mentality of certain players because of that.

That would change if Terry, who is obviously close mates with Lampard and Rams assistant, Jody Morris, joined as he is a proven winner.

He can still defend well and that influence off the pitch makes him a great signing.

The management team have connections at Chelsea and that could help them bring in Musonda. Despite a tough spell with Celtic, his talent is unquestionable.

A loan move is inevitable and if Lampard could get him playing at his best he could be a star in the Championship.

The Rams need some youth, pace and wingers in the squad and Ojo fits the bill.

The Liverpool man has proven himself at this level over the years.

He would give them a real threat on the counter, create chances and add a lot to a sometimes predictable Derby attack.
