Lee Johnson's Bristol City handed the pressure to their relegation rivals as the Robins boost a chance of survival following a comfortable 4-0 victory over David Wagner's promotion chasing Huddersfield Town.

Goalkeeper Frank Fielding contained his spot in the starting eleven despite Fabian Giefer recovering from an eye injury.

The match got off to an unfortunate start as the visitors' Jonathan Hogg was taken off on a stretcher with impact sustained in the neck, which would eventually mean 14 minutes additional time at the end of the first-half.

Although City got their advantage on the 30-minute mark as Lee Tomlin paced pass the defence and dribbled it round the 'keeper to finish into an empty net.

Then star striker Tammy Abraham doubled the lead just before the interval when he got on the end of a David Cotterill cross.

Johnson's men extended the score line even more midway through the second-half as Gary O'Neil's shot from outside the box was turned in via Aden Flint's flick - Bristol City wrapped up the win in the latter stages of the game when Cotterill converted from the spot.

This result means the Robins now lift themselves into 19th and two points safe; here's how City supporters reacted to the match on Twitter....
