Bristol City continued their superb form this season with a brilliant weekend win over Cardiff City to stay in the play-off places.

The Robins, along with Sheffield United, are proving to be one of the surprise packages for the campaign and if they keep things up they are going to be there or thereabouts come May.

It makes you wonder, then, might they be worried about some of their players leaving - perhaps most namely Bobby Reid? With that in mind, then, we've taken a look at whether the striker is priceless...

Alfie Burns

He’s important to them, but certainly not priceless – everybody has their price.

Bristol City will not want to lose Reid at any point, but as with all Championship clubs, if the Premier League comes knocking, they will face a tough task in keeping hold of the player.

Reid’s goalscoring record this season will see him attract interest from elsewhere, and it is down to Bristol City to either set their price for the 24-year-old, or make their stance clear by handing him a new contract.

Chris Gallagher

He is this season, without a doubt.

The Robins are going to be in the play-off picture by January at least, you would imagine.

Therefore, what's the point in selling your best player? Promotion to the Premier League is worth an insane amount of money and they aren't going to replace Reid with a better player, especially in the winter.

Adam Simeoni

What a revelation Reid has been.

Moved into a forward role by Lee Johnson, Reid has become a goal scoring machine, with a tonne of top flight clubs keeping tabs on the player ahead of the January transfer window.

The Robins have a strong squad and could probably still achieve a top six finish should Reid move on, but he is the star man in a very talented line-up.
