Premier League sides Everton and Southampton are interested in signing Bristol City full back Joe Bryan, according to the People.

Joe Bryan has excelled at Bristol City
Bryan is a target for Everton and the Saints

The 21-year-old is usually deployed at left wing back for Bristol in their 5-3-2 formation and has only missed six games for City this season.

Bryan's played so well in League One that he was included in the PFA team of the year, and this has gone unnoticed by a number of Premier League clubs.

Everton will perhaps need to search for a back up left back this summer, after their back up left back Luke Garbutt was linked with a move to Bournemouth yesterday and is out of contract in the summer.

Southampton will be looking for a back up to left back Ryan Bertand who signed for them permanently in January, and although they do have Matthew Targett as an option for rotation, he lacks first team experience.

Bristol City won Sky Bet League One this year and will ply their trade in the Championship next season, finishing off their campaign with an 8-2 win over Walsall yesterday.

Steve Cotterill's Bristol City amassed an incredible 99 points during their season.
