Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Marseille are all keen on signing highly-rated West Brom full-back Nathan Ferguson, according to The Athletic.

The 19-year-old has been one of the standout players for West Brom in the Championship so far this season and if recent reports are to be believed, he has also attracted interest from Tottenham and Crystal Palace.

Ferguson has been with West Brom since the age of eight and has risen through the ranks at the Hawthorns, going on to make his first-team debut in August.

The England youth international has now made eleven Championship appearances for the Baggies and has impressed at both left-back and right-back so far this season.

West Brom are determined to keep hold of Ferguson and it was reported last week that Albion are in talks with the player's representatives over a new long-term contract, although this latest report from The Athletic claims that discussions are not at an advanced stage.

Ferguson's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season and while he is happy at West Brom and is enjoying playing under Slaven Bilic, he is also thought to be open to a move abroad.

The Verdict

This is a bit of a worry for West Brom. Ferguson is an exciting young talent and he's been excellent for the Baggies in the Championship this season.

He's got so much potential and there's every chance that he could be a tempted by a chance to play for one of Europe's top clubs like Atletico Madrid or Juventus.

However, he seems to be really enjoying his time at West Brom and learning under Slaven Bilic, and it's absolutely vital that the club are able to take advantage of that and get him tied down to a new long-term contract as soon as possible.
