Blackburn Rovers will be looking to make it back-to-back Championship wins when they face Nottingham Forest at Ewood Park on Saturday.

It will be a tough test for Tony Mowbray's men, with the visitors starting to show the form that many expected after a very productive summer that included several big-name signings.

Yet, the Lancashire side will have confidence in their own ability and they are actually unbeaten on their own patch, although they have only won one of their four games.

Despite the midweek League Cup loss at Bournemouth, an impressive, if albeit nervy, win at Stoke last time out in the league has left Rovers just two points outside the play-offs.

Rovers will hope to build on that and here we look at the XI that could help them get a crucial three points in what will be a tough fixture...

The 23-year-old has been number one all season and has performed well on the whole.

The youngster has been an ever-present and will continue on the right flank, looking to get forward to help in attacks too.

The solid centre-back has enjoyed a good season so far and is an easy pick for the boss.

Having missed the last few games through injury, there is concern over Mulgrew's fitness.

However, with Derrick Williams suspended, Rovers really need the influential former Celtic man back and they seem confident he will make it.

The left-back will look to get up and down the flank all game, providing the side with some real width.

The on-loan Southampton man has impressed since signing and will be handed another start.

Mowbray has a dilemma in the middle of the park, with Corry Evans and Richie Smallwood both capable players, and he could end up playing the pair along with Reed.

However, at home he needs to be braver and that could see Evans missing out.

The talented attacking midfielder should come in and will hope to show off his undoubted talent.

Rovers' best player - Dack is sure to start and is the man that Forest will be fearing the most.

The reliable wide man has had a fine season and has established himself as an important part of the team.

After his goal last week, Graham should lead the line again.
