Feyenoord are interested in making a move for Norwich City striker Ricky Van Wolfswinkel, according to Dutch football site, fr12.nl via the Eastern Daily Press.
It is understood that there has been talks between the Rotterdam based club and Van Wolfswinkel’s representatives.
Feyenoord manager, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst guided his side to a 3rd place finish in the Dutch league and will compete in the Europa League next season.
He is looking for a further options up front and has identified the Norwich striker as one of his targets.
The striker has had a torrid spell during his spell in England after scoring just one goal last season and will be looking for an escape route out of the Norfolk club.
Van Wolfswinkel made the £8.5 million move to Carrow Road from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2013, and scored on his Premier League debut.
Canaries boss, Alex Neil is likely to allow the Dutch striker to leave the club after failing to establish himself at Carrow Road.
