PSG are pushing hard for a deal for Ryan Sessegnon, with the French outfit challenging Premier League clubs in the race to sign the Fulham teenager.

According to the Mirror’s Live Transfer Blog (09/05, 22:37), it is PSG providing the stiffest competition to English football’s elite in their pursuit of Sessegnon.

Sessegnon is on the radar of some top clubs around Europe after a rapid emergence in Fulham’s first-team over the last two years.

The 17-year-old, who can operate on the left of midfield or defence, has enjoyed a fine year in the Sky Bet Championship, helping Fulham into promotion contention once again.

Sessegnon has bagged 15 Championship goals and a further six assists, as well as cleaning up at the EFL Awards evening last month.

His form has lifted Fulham to third in the Championship this season, whilst also earning him plenty of admirers in the English top-flight.

Both Manchester City and United are keen on Sessegnon, along with Tottenham, but PSG have thrown a curveball the way of the teenager by making their move to take him to Ligue 1.

It’s believed that Sessegnon’s fee could rise up to £50m this summer, as his reputation continues to grow.
