Blackburn Rovers manager Jon Dahl Tomasson has emerged on the radar of Dutch club Feyenoord, as per a report from Voetbal International.

As per the report, the Dutch outfit would consider the Championship boss if Leeds United were to appoint current boss Arne Slot when the summer comes around.

The Premier League outfit missed out on Slot before appointing Javi Gracia but with the former Watford man only being appointed on a short-term deal, The Mirror (12 February, page 72) has claimed that the Yorkshire club could reignite their interest.

Blackburn currently sit fourth in the second tier standings under Tomasson's stewardship, managing to succeed despite the January transfer window difficulties that the club endured.

Rovers also managed to knock Leicester City out of the FA Cup and earn themselves a place in the quarter-finals of the competition last night, deservingly winning the tie too.

The verdict

It is no surprise that Tomasson is already emerging on the radar of another club, given the job he has done at Blackburn thus far and what he also did with Malmo.

The current Rovers boss is no stranger to the Eredivisie table-toppers, having enjoyed two spells with the club during his playing career.

However, Blackburn are fourth and are looking to secure promotion to the Premier League and an opportunity in England's top flight would probably be enough to keep Tomasson put.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out but of course, it would have to start with Leeds appointing Slot and then for Rovers to react.
