Ethan Robson has had a productive loan spell at MK Dons so far this season in Sky Bet League One, boosting his chances of becoming a first-team regular at Blackpool in the future along the way.

The soon-to-be 25-year-old joined MK Dons in the summer on a temporary basis from the Tangerines and has quickly established himself as a regular under Liam Manning, recording some decent stats along the way.

Playing in a side that is heavily possession-based, Robson and co. currently sit sixth in the third tier table and have hopes of challenging for the play-offs this season under their new manager, and you certainly wouldn't rule against them doing that right now.

For Robson himself, he's started 11 matches so far and has a goal and an assist to his name, with his passing stats particularly catching the eye.

A recent knock has had him ruled out since the start of October but he'll surely be back in the fold once he has returned to full fitness, helping his team continue to try and dominate the ball.

Averaging over 60 passes a game with an accuracy of over 86%, he's in the top ten in the league for both verticals, with a number of other MK Dons players joining him in the list.

Clearly, he's a very astute, composed footballer on the ball and that could lend itself nicely to Blackpool's approach under Neil Critchley.

Approaching his prime, this year is proving important for him and the Tangerines will be pleased with what they've seen so far.
