Nottingham Forest extended their winning run to three games in all competitions after defeating Stoke City by 3 goals to 2 on Wednesday night.

Aitor Karanka's men booked their ticket into the Carabao Cup fourth round after beating Gary Rowett's Potters, but the Reds made hard work of it in the end after going 3-0 up.

Goals from Ben Osborn, Daryl Murphy and Joe Lolley put the Reds 3-0 up, before a Diogo Goncalves red card invited Stoke back into the game through goals from Benik Afobe and Saido Berahino.
