Sunderland's Chris Maguire has insisted that he has no intention of playing for either Newcastle United or Rangers at any point during his career.

The Celtic supporting attacker, who has made 84 appearances and scored 20 goals in all competitions for the Black Cats since joining from Bury, was taking part in a QandA session on Sunderland's Twitter account on Friday night, when one fan took the opportunity to put a particularly tough question to the 31-year-old.

Maguire was asked whether he would rather play for Sunderland's arch-rivals Newcastle, or Celtic's nemeses Rangers, although it seems the attacker was well prepared for such a question.

Responding to that specific query, Maguire replied: "Hmm let me think about that for a minute."

He then took a sip from a mug referencing Celtic's recent run of winning three straight domestic trebles in Scotland, before simply stating: "None."

Perhaps not surprisingly, that was an answer that provoked a rather strong response from fans of all four clubs concerned with the question, and here, we take a look at what some of those fans had to say.
