Hull City have been revealed as the first Championship club to oppose the resumption of the 2019/20 campaign, which has led many Leeds United fans to aim digs at the club.

It has been more than two months since the EFL season was suspended but it now appears as if we're moving closer to a decision over if, how, and when it will be concluded.

It was reported last week that the Championship is moving toward restarting in June with the majority of clubs in the division committed to completing the current campaign on the pitch.

There are a number of sides opposed to this, however, and, according to The Telegraph, Hull have emerged as the first side to take that stance.

The report claims that the Yorkshire club's vice-chairman Ehab Allam has penned a letter to EFL chairman Rick Parry to convey his "serious" concerns about restarting the season.

The Tigers are sitting just two points and one place above the relegation zone and had failed to win in any of their last 12 games before the delay.

Have Leeds United done these 15 things in the last 10 years? – Yes or no? Have a go now!

Hull's opposition to the restart of the season has drawn some significant criticism from Leeds fans, who will be keen to see their side secure promotion to the Premier League on the pitch.
