Cardiff City and Fulham played out a 1-1 draw last night in a game that saw the Cottagers Harry Arter sent off against his former club.

The Ireland international was shown a second yellow card for diving in the 68th minute, although boss Scott Parker was adamant that the midfielder's ankle was clipped.

Whilst the replays were inconclusive, there's no doubt that Arter exaggerated the fall and he took steps before throwing himself to the floor.

His dismissal was a turning point in the game, with the hosts applying significant pressure after the red card, although Fulham remained strong defensively to ensure they left with a point.
