It's 16th against 17th as Huddersfield Town host Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

With both sides lingering at the wrong end of the table, three points here could be crucial ahead of the hectic festive period later this month.

Huddersfield have been struggling of late, but did beat Middlesbrough at the John Smith's Stadium last Saturday, although showed their inconsistencies by losing 3-0 at Cardiff in midweek.

Meanwhile, QPR make the trip to Yorkshire just one point behind the Terriers, are also finding points hard to come - proved by narrow defeats to both Brentford and Bristol City in recent days.

Quiz: Which club did Huddersfield Town sign each of these 25 players from?

This would appear an extremely tight clash to call, but what does EFL specialist pundit David Prutton think will happen tomorrow. He's gone for 2-1 win for Huddersfield.

He told Sky Sports: "Huddersfield had a poor result in midweek but are still building under Carlos Corberan and anything up in mid-table would show real progress for them.

"This feels like a finely-balanced game and you never quite know what you're going to get from QPR. This could go either way, but I'll back a home win.

The Verdict

With this bringing together two extremely unpredictable sides that don't win very often, this is such a tough game to predict.

And although home advantage would give Huddersfield the slight edge, I can't separate them and think the points will be shared.
