Coventry City will be hoping to continue their outstanding Championship form when they host Luton on Tuesday, with David Prutton predicting another Sky Blues win.

Following a defeat at Watford last month, Mark Robins' side found themselves just one point above the bottom-three.

However, five matches without losing has seen Coventry climb to 17th in the second-tier table, but more significantly, six points clear of the relegation-zone.

Even more pleasing for the Sky Blues boss will surely be his side's recent defensive revival - conceding just three times in that period, compared to 12 goals in the previous five before that.

And Coventry will have another great opportunity to get three points on the board when they welcome Luton to St Andrew's on Tuesday evening.

But whilst Luton might be seven places and five points above the hosts, they've been struggling themselves in recent weeks, winning just once in their last six league outings, although that did come against Championship leaders Norwich last week.

For that reason, Sky Sports' EFL pundit David Prutton has predicted Coventry to get another win by two goals to one.

The Verdict

Coventry have been excellent at home, whilst the Hatters are finding points extremely hard to come by on their travels, and I reckon this one will go with form.

With Luton conceding goals at a worryingly frequent rate in recent matches, I think the hosts will take advantage and secure a third St Andrew's victory on the bounce with a 2-0 scoreline.
