David Prutton is expecting Leeds United’s winless streak to continue this weekend, with the EFL pundit expecting Paul Heckingbottom’s side to be held to a 2-2 draw by Bristol City at Elland Road.

Writing in his prediction column for Sky, Prutton is predicting an entertaining draw between Leeds and Bristol, with two goals apiece and the first of the match to be scored by Leeds’ in-form forward, Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

Leeds enter tomorrow’s contest on the back of a lengthy winless run, with the Whites without a victory since Boxing Day, which has seriously dented their hopes of challenging for the play-offs.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side sit 11th in the table heading into the weekend’s round of fixtures, with the Whites eight points adrift of Bristol City, who occupy the final place in the Championship’s top-six.

Whilst Bristol still hold a place in the top-six, Lee Johnson’s side, like Leeds, are on a miserable run of form, having only managed to pick up one victory sine Boxing Day.

Last weekend, the Robins threw away a three-goal lead against Sunderland, allowing the Championship strugglers to claim a point thanks to a 3-3 draw.

The Verdict

Leeds need a victory this weekend, and in Heckingbottom’s first game, he will be looking for a big result at Elland Road.

This is perhaps Leeds’ last chance to mount a play-off push, but it will be difficult to get three points off Bristol City.

Tomorrow’s contest should be a cracker, and fans will only hope it is as entertaining as Prutton is predicting.
