Championship leaders Wolves are back in action against Norwich City tomorrow as they look to maintain their healthy lead at the top of the league.
Wanderers boast an 11-point cushion over second place Cardiff City, although Nuno Espirito Santo’s side did drop two points at the weekend.
The Black Country outfit were held to a draw at Preston, with the hosts having to play the final half hour with ten men.
Nevertheless, it stretched Wolves’ unbeaten run to four games and fans will expect a win against the Canaries tomorrow. So too does EFL pundit David Prutton, who predicted a 3-2 win for the home side in his regular online Sky Sports column.
The former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder believes that the way the two sides like to play will make for a good game but reckons Wolves have the firepower to secure another three points.
However, it won’t be easy for Santo’s men and Norwich will go to the game on a high after their dramatic draw with local rivals Ipswich on Sunday.
Wolves won the reverse fixture at Carrow Road 2-0 earlier in the season.
There aren’t many observers who will be giving Norwich much of a chance at Molineux tomorrow night so Prutton’s prediction of a home win isn’t too surprising.
Although, he clearly thinks the Yellows can cause Wolves problems and it would be a shock to see them score two against the hosts solid defence.
With away games at Fulham, Leeds, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Cardiff coming up, Wolves won’t want to be dropping silly points at home and will expect to win tomorrow to maintain their big lead at the top.
