Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Warburton has revealed that there's been 'no news' yet on the contract talks involving the club and Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Osayi-Samuel's future has been a hot topic around West London for some time now, with the winger's contract at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium expiring in the coming summer.

As per Football Insider, Celtic are big admirers of the winger, whilst Rangers' name has also been thrown into the mix to sign him.

The big festive QPR quiz: Can you get 20/20?

Despite the interest from the Old Firm duo floating around, there's been attempts from QPR to tie the winger down to fresh terms in West London.

Warburton has been discussing that this week.

As per FLW journalist, George Dagless, he said: "No news just yet. I'll let the clever people sort that one out."

The 22-year-old has struck twice in 15 appearances in the Championship this season and has also registered two assists for Warburton's side.

Osayi-Samuel featured for 90 minutes on Tuesday evening as the R's held Millwall to a 1-1 draw to end a three-game losing streak.

The Verdict

The saga involving Osayi-Samuel and his QPR contract is an ongoing one that feels like it's never going to reach a conclusion!

Of course, it is going to have to come to a head in the coming months. January is just around the corner and the deal itself expires in a matter of months.

Celtic and Rangers will be confident of landing a deal if this continues, though.

Osayi-Samuel and QPR are clearly on a different page right now and that leaves the door open.
