Charlton Athletic striker Lyle Taylor took to Instagram to post an update on his return yesterday, and fans are getting excited about seeing in action again.
Lyle Taylor hasn’t played for Charlton since their 2-0 win at Reading in August, having picked up an injury whilst on international duty with Montserrat.
He got off to a flying start to the Championship season with five goals in his opening six league games and in his absence, Charlton have won just twice.
Taylor, 29, suggested that he could return for the Addicks this weekend when he posted this message on his Instagram yesterday:
Fans were quick to react to Taylor’s post and they’ve been eagerly awaiting his return for three months now.
Charlton resume their season with the visit of Neil Harris’ Cardiff this weekend, and Taylor could well make his return in the former Millwall managers’ first game in charge of the Welsh club.
Here’s what the Charlton fans were saying on Taylor’s Instagram post:
caffins123: Need you back ASAP, Lyle is the man
