Answering questions in a Q&A on his Instagram channel, Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has revealed the two best players he's played alongside in his career are James Milner and Wilfried Zaha.

The left-footed Scottish international has had a good career with him playing on the national stage with the Tartan Army and also for the likes of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

Indeed, he's got Premier League experience under his belt and during his time with those two sides he evidently played with the two players that have left the biggest impression on him in terms of team-mates.

He revealed:

Bannan and Milner would have been team-mates at Aston Villa, before Milner left for Manchester City.

Zaha, meanwhile, played with Bannan at Crystal Palace with the winger still at the Eagles after a brief spell at Manchester United.

The pair remain Premier League regulars for their current clubs and perhaps Bannan's endorsement helps explain why as he has played with some good footballers over his career so far.

Now at Sheffield Wednesday, he'll be eager to get the Owls back into the top flight but that looks like something that will have to wait until next season at the earliest.
