Speaking in an Instagram Q&A, Hull City attacker Josh Bowler has revealed it is his dream to play for Everton - the club he is currently at the Tigers on loan from.

The men from the KCOM Stadium will want to get this season over with before too long and get safe with them dropping like a stone in the second tier in the weeks before the pause in play.

It gives Grant McCann and co a chance to try and start afresh, then, but what will happen in the coming months remains to be seen.

The same can be said for Bowler's future, too, with him leaving all options on the table but underlining his dream to play for Everton:

The Verdict

It perhaps makes sense that a player on the books of a Premier League club wants to play for them, and Hull fans wouldn't be aggrieved if that was to happen.

Of course, Tigers fans might want to keep him knowing how they can help young players, but it remains to be seen what Bowler is going to want to do.

What mustn't be forgotten, too, is Everton will need to decide if they think that he is good enough to play for them next season, and that could decide his more immediate future more than anything else.
