Eddie Nketiah is readying himself for International duty once more for the England u21's, whilst he still awaits a place in Marcelo Bielsa's starting eleven at Leeds United.

The Arsenal man, currently playing his football at Elland Road this season, posted a video on Twitter today showing his finishing in training with the striker looking set to feature in both of the u21's fixtures in the coming days.

England u21's play two games during the current break featuring away against Slovenia before playing at home in a Championship Qualifier against Austria.

Eddie Nketiah has taken the number nine spot under Aidy Boothroyd and has impressed for the u21's - scoring four times in six appearances for the u21 side.

Nketiah hasn't been letting up when on International duty and his form is fuelling more questions of when, rather than if, Bielsa will start the striker over Patrick Bamford for Leeds.

Tony Dorigo has been one former pro who has spoken on the striker situation.

Nketiah has been best used by Bielsa as a substitute this season and has managed to score four times in all eight of his appearances, two goals in six games in the Championship.

The Verdict

Nketiah is biding his time before he is given a starting role in the Leeds team this season as Bamford's performances are strong despite the goals not flowing.

If Nketiah can keep performing during International duty it may force Bielsa's hand to go with the Arsenal loanee more frequently.

He needs to grasp this opportunity to start for the under-21 side.
