QPR midfielder Ebere Eze has shared an update from his home as he, and footballers around the world, continue to train from home because of recent world events.

The Football League have postponed all their action until the end of April but players are being tasked with staying on top of their fitness by their respective clubs in the mean time.

Eze was quick to emphasise the work he was putting in on Tuesday, posting a snap from his front step where he basked in the sun with his dog.

Writing alongside the snap, Eze said: "Still working!.... Rona 🔫".

QUIZ: The higher or lower QPR challenge – Can you get 15/15?

It has been a real breakthrough season for the 21-year-old with a summer move looking very likely when the transfer window eventually opens, with Spurs just one club reportedly interested in his services.

With 12 goals and eight assists to his name already, it is easy to see why as well, proving a key part of Mark Warburton's transitional squad.

Nine matches remain in the Championship with the R's sat in 13th place as things stand, 11 points clear of the relegation zone and six points behind the play-off places.

The verdict

Eze must be pondering what his future holds with the summer transfer window quickly approaching.

Of course, he will still be focused on the R's as well but he will have been well aware that a move to the Premier League was a real possibility this summer and would have most likely jumped at the chance.

For now he just needs to keep doing what he's doing and hope that things work themselves out in time.
