QPR were left frustrated on Friday evening, as they fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat against London rivals Brentford in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

The Hoops are now sat 15th after the weekend's fixtures, and will be eager to get back to winning ways when they return to action in midweek.

Mark Warburton's side are set to take on Bristol City on Tuesday night, in what is likely to be a tricky test against a Robins side, that will fancy their chances of bouncing back from a 3-1 defeat against Reading on Saturday in the early kick-off.

One player that has impressed so far in this year's campaign is winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, with the midfielder playing the full 90 minutes in the defeat to the Bees on Friday, as well as getting the assist for Lyndon Dykes' equaliser.

The winger has made 13 appearances in all competitions for QPR this season, and has chipped in with two goals and three assists for Mark Warburton's men.

Osayi-Samuel continues to be linked with a move elsewhere, with the likes of Celtic and West Ham being just some of the clubs interested in landing his signature.

The 22-year-old took to Instagram following the defeat to Brentford

Osayi-Samuel's former QPR team-mate Ebere Eze was quick to respond to his social post, and is clearly keeping track of his old club's progress without him.

Eze left QPR in the summer transfer window, and is now playing his football for Premier League side Crystal Palace, where he has gone on to feature regularly in the top-flight for the Eagles.

The Verdict:

It's good to see Eze still keeping track on his former QPR team-mate.

He was a huge loss to the QPR team when he left in favour of a move to Premier League side Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, and the creative spark is now being expected to be provided by Osayi-Samuel in his absence.

It was a frustrating defeat to Brentford on Friday, especially when the Hoops had chances to go in front on the night.

It's important that they put together a positive run of form heading towards the festive period, as it could make or break their season.
