Most football teams have a chant that is sung just before kick-off to try and stir up the atmosphere ahead of kick-off.

Sheffield United have their own chant in the form of 'The Greasy Chip Butty' song, which is played to the tune of 'Annie's Song'.

The chant glorifies the Sheffield nightlife and beer, and it's a song that is played just before kick-off at Bramall Lane.

It was supposedly first sung by the Blades back in the 1985/86 season in Division 2, in the first match of the season where they beat Stoke City 3-1 away from home.

Chris Wilder's Sheffield United are enjoying a great season in the Sky Bet Championship, after promotion from League One last season.

They'll be looking to achieve a top six spot after the blistering start to their campaign, as they currently occupy third spot.

The Greasy Chip Butty song will undoubtedly be sung louder and louder throughout the season if the Blades' impressive form continues.

Is it the best song in the Championship? The Blades fans let us know on Twitter.....
