Sheffield Wednesday are really struggling at the moment.

Despite a resurgence over recent weeks the Owls currently find themselves on a run of three defeats in a row in the Championship.

That has left them sitting in the relegation zone with plenty of work to do if they're to avoid the drop.

Saturday's clash with Luton Town represents a massive clash for the Yorkshire side who need to start picking up some points if they're likely to avoid relegation from the second tier.

But with a number of fitness concerns it'll be interesting to see who is available.

As quoted by Yorkshire Live, here's what Thompson had to say on their four key injury worries following the defeat to Brentford.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru

"I don't think he is too bad. He is a bit sore but we will assess that when we get back up to Sheffield. It's his ankle injury."

Keiren Westwood

"He pulled out of training on Thursday. He has had a rib injury in the last week or so and we got it scanned and unfortunately it is fractured.

"We hope it is not too bad in terms time wise because he has had it a week or two now. We will assess it as we go on.

"I don't know how long he is going to be out for. We will have to wait and see."

Massimo Luongo

"Massimo Luongo came back from his thigh injury and he started running again and his knee flared up. He has been down to see the surgeon and he is not going to be available for the next four to five weeks.

"It's a massive blow for Massimo. He's really disappointed and we are because we want him available for us. It is what it is and injury is part and parcel of what we do."

Callum Paterson

"He’s put a lot of effort in over the last couple of months and it was to freshen things up a little bit.

"I thought Rhodesy worked his socks off and Kachunga did well in behind him but it is trying to find the right formula."
